Rules of the Bērzes Strazdu Midsummer Festival

Festival date and location
The festival grounds will be open from Friday, June 19, at 12:00 p.m. until Sunday, June 21, at 1:00 p.m.
Tickets and Admission

Entry to and access within the festival grounds is permitted only with a valid festival wristband.

Festival attendees must have a valid, securely fastened, and undamaged festival wristband.

Tickets purchased from the ticketing platform with a valid barcode are considered valid.

When purchasing a “Family Ticket,” all individuals must arrive at the ticket office at the same time for the ticket to be considered valid.

When purchasing a “Child Ticket” or “Youth Ticket,” you must present a valid form of identification at the entrance to verify that your age matches the ticket you have purchased.

Any person found in possession of, storing, or distributing counterfeit tickets or wristbands, or suspected of involvement in the counterfeiting of tickets or wristbands, will be referred to law enforcement authorities.
Political Activity Policy
The Festival is a non-political event. Any form of political activity is strictly prohibited within the Festival grounds.
This includes, but is not limited to:

Displaying political slogans, symbols, banners, or flags

Distributing political materials (flyers, leaflets, merchandise)
-
Organising or participating in political demonstrations, protests, or campaigns
-
Promoting political parties, candidates, or causes
Behavior and Responsibility

All instructions from the festival organizer and security personnel must be followed within the festival grounds.

By purchasing a ticket, the visitor agrees to abide by the rules.

The organizers are not responsible for your personal belongings, safety, or health.

Parents must take responsibility for their minor children.
-
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult while on the festival grounds.

Visitors agree to present their personal belongings and documents upon request by festival organizers or security personnel.
Pets
When arriving at the festival with a dog, visitors must:

keep their dog under control
-
pick up after it
-
if necessary, keep the dog on a leash and muzzled
Photos and videos

By purchasing a ticket, the visitor consents to the publication of their image in the press, on the internet, or in other media, including the use of the image in future promotional materials for Bērzes Strazdi.

Video surveillance is in operation on the festival grounds.

Professional filming and sound recording must be coordinated in advance with the festival organizers.
Parking

Parking on the festival grounds is only permitted with a valid parking ticket.
Festival Cancellation and Changes

The festival will not be canceled due to bad weather.

The festival organizers reserve the right to change the festival program without prior notice.

Unused tickets are non-refundable.
-
No refunds are given for purchased tickets.
Environment and Cleanliness

Trash must be disposed of only in the designated bins.

Please keep the festival grounds clean.
Alcohol and Age Restrictions

Persons under the age of 18 are prohibited from purchasing and consuming alcohol and tobacco products.
-
Persons between the ages of 18 and 25 must present a valid form of identification when purchasing alcohol or tobacco products, even if the seller does not request it.
-
“Līgotava”, “Sports Zone” and “Novuss Zone” are alcohol-free areas.
Prohibitions on the festival grounds
The following are prohibited on the festival grounds:

to use narcotics and other prohibited substances
-
to be under the influence of strong alcohol or other intoxicating substances
-
bringing your own beverages into the festival’s main stage area
-
damage or steal festival equipment
-
transfer the festival wristband to other people
-
use open flames (bonfires, fireworks, etc.)
-
climb over fences or damage them
-
bring in and use batteries or generators
-
swim within the festival grounds
-
display any banners, advertise goods, services, or promotional activities without the permission of the festival organizer
-
use festival tickets in advertisements or contests without permission
-
to conduct professional filming without prior approval
-
disturb other visitors or endanger their safety
-
bringing weapons
-
to use or fly drones without prior coordination with the festival organizers
Consequences of non-compliance with the rules
Festival organizers reserve the right to refuse entry to the festival or request that a visitor leave the premises without providing additional explanation. In such cases, payment for purchased tickets will not be refunded
